Why ask for a kiss? Even if you’ve been married 50 years - we want to see what you think is a sweet or sexy way to ask consent. This isn't some meaningless “kiss challenge”, it’s the “consent to kiss challenge”. Promoting consent around the world.

... Easy as pie. Some things to consider:

  1. If you don't want lips ask for a "kiss on the cheek" or forehead! 💋

  2. The other person is allowed to say "no" and that's okay.

  3. If you don't have any friend, family or lover kiss on the cheek, you can tell a story about an amazing time you asked or got asked for a kiss.

  4. If you don't have a great consent story, you can also share a deep story of feeling violated by a kiss. These stories of vulnerability are the most special of all. "#ctk"

  5. How you ask is up to you. Use your creativity, and don't forget the hashtag! "#consenttokiss"

The Message


Watching people kissing is fun, but it's more special when you realize the beautiful message behind the challenge. For too long the social norm shown in television and movies is someone just grabbing a face or leaning in for a kiss and "assuming" the other person is okay with that. This whole website is about changing social norms for a society that is better at asking for and setting boundaries so that we can help reduce the horrible statistics around sexual violations from unwanted kisses (~2/3 of all U.S. women) and criminal sexual violation offenses (~1/5 of all U.S. women).

Only settle for consensual and amazing kisses! ❤️
